Admission requirements:

Bachelor (4 Years) and/or Masters degrees from a recognized university or an equivalent institute with good academic records in Economics, Environmental Management/Science, Geography and Environment, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or any other subject with some background in economics.
3rd division/class or its equivalent at any level is not acceptable.

Session: 2023-24, Batch: 13, Duration: 18 months

Application form distribution and submission date: Up to 08th August, 2023 (date extended)

Admission Test: 12th August, 2023 at 10:00 am.

The degree is awarded by the University of Dhaka.
First such degree-awarding academic programme in South Asia.
Courses include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Environmental/Resource/Energy/Ecological Economics, Economics of Environmental Valuation, Sustainable Development, Economics of Climate Change, Research Methodology, etc. with an option of the dissertation.
