Posts: Assistant Professor/Lecturer for different departments.

Dhaka School of Economics (DScE), a constituent institution of the University of Dhaka invites applications for the following posts:

1. Assistant Professor/Lecturer: Development Economics (1 position)

• At least 3 years relevant teaching and research experience in a university or an institute of advanced research for the post of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to candidates who have Ph.D. or research publications in peer reviewed journals.
• Candidates having MA/MSS/MS in Economics/ Development Economics with BA/BSS/BSc (Hons) in Economics for the post of Lecturer. Preference will be given to those who have Ph.D. or M.Phil degree/teaching/research experience.

2. Lecturer: Environmental and Resource Economics (2 positions)

• Candidates having Masters in Environmental Economics/Economics/Statistics/Applied Statistics are encouraged to apply. Higher qualifications in those subjects along with knowledge of Statistics, Econometrics, GIS and mathematical economics will be treated as additional qualifications.

3. Lecturer: Entrepreneurship Economics (2 positions)

• Candidates having Masters in Marketing/MBA major in Marketing/Masters in CSE/Public Administration/ Development Studies are encouraged to apply. Higher qualifications in those subjects will be treated as additional qualification. Industry experience or Publication in blind peer reviewed journal will be preferred.

Requirements:

• 1st classes both in Bachelor with honors and Master Degrees or GPA/CGPA at least 3.50 out of 4. Preference will be given to the candidates who secured GPA 4 or above out of 5 at secondary and higher secondary levels.
• Salary to be offered will depend on qualifications and fulfillment of requirements.
• Candidates are required to write the position applied for on the top of the envelope.
